Introducing Jade Joselyn— Bali-based personal trainer, bikini competitor, and content creator you'll find inspiring babes worldwide from luxury fitness hub: Body Factory in Canggu.

What does life look like for you away from cameras?

Sandy and carefree! There's not much in life that makes me happier than forgetting that technology exists and just spending time laughing in nature. I think that people have this idea that if you use social media as a job that you are obsessed with your phone but thats not always the case. Sometimes I find the whole social media world a little intense so spending time away from it really helps.

How much time goes into a regular photo found on your Instagram?

In the past I would have spent a lot more time planning a photo, finding a shoot location and setting time out of my day to create content but now I find that just being in flow and authentically uploading is the best way to build trust and a real relationship with your audience.

What does a typical day in Jade Joselyn's life look like?

My mornings always start at sunrise for an early pt client at the gym or my own cardio. I love my 10 minutes in the morning driving my bike and use this time to find 3 things I am grateful for. I spend the morning and afternoon at the gym with clients and also I will create content for instagram. In the evening I will either grab dinner with a friend or I love bringing my puppy for a sunset stroll. Self-care is always a big priority for me so I will usually take myself out on a little solo date or for a massage twice a week.

What made you decide to get into fitness coaching?

I just wanted to share my own journey at first when starting the gym and starting to eat healthy but once my channel started to grow I felt I had a responsibility to know what I was talking about so decided to do my fitness qualifications. As my social media continued growing I fell more in love with fitness and with helping people which is when I started online coaching and personal training.

Number one tip for being comfortable in your own body?

Know that someone else's opinion of you has nothing to do with you!

How do you keep yourself in a positive head-space?

I just wouldn't want to live any other way! Happiness is a choice.

A strange fact your followers might not know about you?

Jade Joselyn isn't my real name!

Top three essentials you pack when travelling?

Super basic but a hairbrush, a toothbrush and a phone charger .. ironically they are the three things I seem to always forget.

What is your one career lowlight and one highlight since being in the fitspo world?

I always find when a contract comes to an end quite a low moment when working in social media. I feel like I let the people down who have supported me by purchasing from the brand because of me or that I for whatever reason maybe I'm not good enough but I don't let myself dwell on these thoughts for too long. A highlight was working with Disney for sure! I ran the Disney half marathon with them as part of a collaboration / press trip and it was incredible.

Any blue ticks ever slid into your DM's?

Hahaha yes but usually they don't make it past the dms. I much prefer to meet people in person and get a feel for their energy but that's not to say my dms aren't open.

What would your number one piece of advice be for your 16-year-old self?

You are going to make it through 100% of your bad days so keep going (also stop wearing so much makeup)

Do you have any business or projects in mind for the near future?

No projects in the pipeline in terms of my own brand but I hope to continue to work with brands who are making a positive impact on the world.

How do you see your life in five years time?

In five years I will be waking up on a dreamy warm island somewhere and in a happy relationship. I will be the fittest I have ever been and be living a completely stress free life. My business will still be online but I will also be spending a lot of time working with charities and non for-profit organisations. My passport is full of stamps but as much as life as an adventure I have somewhere safe and beautiful to call home.
